Admission
Students may enter SPENTA in either “FULL”
or “Provisional” or “Conditional”
“Non-Degree” or
“Special Consideration” status.
Full Status
With full status the students is accepted as having met all requirements
for entry and degree candidacy.
Provisional Status
Provisional Status requires the students to demonstrate his competency
to achieve Full Status.
Conditional Status
Students who have met all requirements in principle but from
whom one or more official documents still
required. When the materials required are provided to the admission office
the status will change.
Students in Conditional status must attain Full status within a maximum
of 15 credit hours of graduate
course work at SPENTA.
Non Degree Status
Persons who wish to take one or two courses but who do not wish
to matriculate as candidate for
degree may be accepted as non-degree students. There are no requirements.
Student must submit
application to the Admission Office.
"Special Consideration” Admission
Requirement
Students who fail to meet the above criteria but whose background
and/or life experience warrant
“special consideration” may apply to the SPENTA for admission
in Provisional and/or Special Student
status.
Full Admission Requirement
Students must:
1) Hold a Bachelor degree
2) Meet at least one of the following academic criteria.
a) A minimum of 3.0 GPA from undergraduate academic criteria
b) A minimum score of the 65th percentile on the GRE
Provisional Admission Requirement
Students must:
1) Hold a Bachelor degree
2) Meet at least one of the following academic criteria.
a) A minimum of 2.5 GPA from undergraduate academic criteria
b) A minimum score of the 50th percentile on the GRE
Transfer Students
Transfer students should provide the Admission office with all
the materials/documents required in
general admission, plus a catalog from each institution from which student
transfers.
